ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORY SERVICES
CES performs air, water, soil, and oil analysis using approved and required New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH) and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) procedures and analytical methodologies. Laboratory analysis are performed in the areas of organics, metals, wet chemistry, and bacteriology on solid, sludge, air and liquid samples.
CES is an approved laboratory under the NYSDOH and National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP). CES's NYSDOH NELAP Laboratory Identification Number is 11246. Services are provided in CES's modern laboratory facility using state-of-the art analytical instrumentation, techniques and methodologies. CES performs analytical services in strict accordance with methodologies and quality control requirements established by the NYSDOH, NYSDEC, USEPA, NIOSH and OSHA to ensure that clients are receiving technically valid data.
In addition to analyzing samples collected by members of CES's Field and Technical Services Department, laboratory analysis are also completed for a diverse group of clients who collect their own samples and submit them to CES for analysis. CES can provide the appropriate sample bottles, preservatives and shipping containers to allow clients who have the capabilities to collect samples in-house a cost effective, convenient system to complete their analytical requirements. Expedited analytical services are often available for those instances in which analytical results are required on a rush basis.
