ASBESTOS SURVEYS

CES provides pre-demolition and pre-renovation asbestos survey services including field inspection, bulk sample collection, laboratory analysis and report preparation.  Asbestos surveys are provided in accordance with NYSDOL and USEPA requirements for commercial, industrial, health care, educational and private structures.  At the completion of each asbestos survey, a comprehensive project report is prepared to provide the client with information relative to the types, quantities, locations and conditions of identified Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM).

CES can provide clients who own buildings with asbestos containing materials with a written program which, when implemented, will help to minimize the exposure potential of building occupants to asbestos fibers.  This program establishes work practices to maintain asbestos in good condition, methods to ensure the proper clean-up of previously released asbestos fibers, procedures to prevent the future release of asbestos fibers and procedures for monitoring asbestos-containing materials remaining in the building.  O&M programs developed by CES are based on the guidelines establish by the EPA in its "Green Book".
